The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a program for people interested in the Catholic faith, whether they are non-Catholics thinking about becoming Catholic, or Catholics who wish to learn more and/or embrace the Catholic faith. The classes present the complete Catechism of the Catholic Church in a yearly cycle. They begin in late September but anyone is welcome to join at any point in the year. Visitors are welcome and questions are encouraged, so please come and find out more about what Catholics believe!
For those new to the faith, these classes lead into the Sacraments of Initiation, namely Baptism (for those not yet baptized, or baptized in another denomination), Confirmation and the Holy Eucharist.

Divine Revelation
(St. Joseph’s RCIA Talk Series)
A few parishioners joined RCIA last Tuesday for a lively discussion on the existence of God. We continue to welcome all who would like to drop in for one or more talks.
The topic for 24th October is 'Divine Revelation.' We look at how God has revealed Himself, especially through the bible. This will include a history of the bible from its Hebrew beginnings to what we have today. See you in St. Joseph's Upper Room at 7pm-9pm.
The Existence of God
(St. Joseph's RCIA Talk Series)
All parishioners are welcome to attend RCIA. The talks will cover the Catechism of the Catholic Church from start to finish but anyone is welcome to drop in any week for a topic of interest. You may also bring a friend or two.
The topic for 17th October is ‘The Existence of God. How can you prove to an atheist that God exists? How can we prove that He is a Trinity of person?' See you in St. Joseph's Upper Room at 7pm-9pm!

The REALLY good news... last weekend, at the Easter Vigil we had TEN of our adult brothers and sisters who were confirmed!! FOUR out of the ten were baptized!! All glory is given to God and I thank you all for your prayers and your friendly support for our newly baptized and confirmandi!
